Lesley Ann Tiepelman May 26, 1966-August 9, 2023 Lesley was called home after a short battle with cancer. She is welcomed into heaven by her mother, Kathleen Kelly Burkett, her father, Lynn Tiepelman, and her grandparents, the Hon. Vince and Ruth "Nan" Kelly. She is survived by her brother, Mark Burkett, cousins and countless dear friends. Lesley loved Jesus, dogs, sunflowers, sea turtles, bonfires, reading, music concerts, the St Louis Cardinals and Blues. She was a lifelong, proud resident of Overland, MO and delighted in supporting local businesses, charities and events. She was also a strong supporter of voting and of Women's Rights. Lesley's spiritual faith, prayer life, and trust in God lead her to spread hope and joy through volunteering in Residents Encounter Christ and Ritenour Co-Care Food Pantry. Lesley was a genuine, fun loving and generous person. She had an affinity for the spirits and the mouth of a sailor. She will be remembered for her beautiful, contagious smile, boisterous laugh and gracious heart. The friendships she made were long lasting and true. She helped raise our children, grandchildren, and pets. She will be truly missed, but NEVER forgotten. To know her was to love her. There will be a Celebration of Lesley's life on August 26, 2023 from 12 PM - 2 PM followed by a short service where Deacon Sam will lead us in prayer at Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland Rd, Overland, MO 63114. Per Lesley's wishes, we will conclude the celebration with a BBQ at SuWallers, 2101 N Warson Rd, St. Louis, MO 63114.
