Lorna Arbet (nee Meier) Aug. 11, 2026

Lorna is survived by her daughter Christine (Gregory Ernst), as well as her beloved cats Molly and Licorice. Lorna was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Olivette MO. She grew up on a family farm on Ladue Rd. She was a graduate of Horton Watkins High School (Ladue) Class of 58. Her class was the first to go through the Ladue School System from grade K-12. Lorna was also a graduate of Hickey Business School. She married Thomas Arbet in 1966. She worked for St. Louis County probate court for 21 years. She also worked part time for Dillard’s and Famous Barr (aka Maceys) while helping her daughter through college. Loran was an accordion player. She loved to craft, and loved the musical theater especially South Pacific. Lorna also loved here local sports teams especially the Cardinals and Blues. She was over the moon when the Blues won the Stanley Cup in 2019. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan, and animal lover both of which she passed on to her daughter. She was a loving daughter, wife, daughter-in-law, sister-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 9733 Olive Blvd. Olivette, MO 63132, Sat. Aug. 22 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Service at 12 p.m. Interment St. Paul’s Cemetery (Olive and Warson). In lieu of flowers, donations to your favorite no kill animal shelter in Lorna’s name.
