Lorrain 'Billie' Housemann (née Purvis) passed away on July 24, 2024 at the age of 93. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on January 19, 1931 to late William and Florence Purvis. She was the loving wife of the late Chuck Housemann, Sr.

She was a graduate of the University of Missouri Columbia and a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority. Billie was an avid reader and loved to play bridge and canasta. She was exceptional at decorating the home and loved to travel with Chuck.

After graduating college Lorrain was an elementary school teacher before she started her family of four children. She was a caring mother and mother-in-law of Sue (Pat) Reagan, Lynn Queensen, Charles (Robyn) Housemann, Jr., and Laura McLaughlin, dear grandmother of Christine (Dylan), Jonathan, Michelle, Diane (Adam), Lisa, Charles, Zack (Maegan), Tyler and Shayne; dear aunt, great aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur 63141 on Saturday August 17, Visitation 9-11AM and Funeral Service 11AM.
