Obituary

Lovell D. Walser Jr. "Jack" Wed. March 20, 2024, belove son of the late Lovell and Versie Walser; dear brother of Rita Jost; dear uncle of Jason Jost, Aaron Jost, Dwight (Melinda) Jost Jr., Benjamin (Eve) Jost and Andrew Jost; dear cousin of Anna Brown; dear great-uncle of Bryce and Vance; our dear friend to many.
Lovell "Jack" Walser was an incredible, charitable and kind friend, brother and uncle. A patriotic man born in New Orleans, he was an Air Force veteran who spent his entire life giving to veteran charities and learning about American and world history. Jack was a big fan of music and sports. His sister Rita will always have priceless memories of her and Jack fishing, playing cards, and going to carnivals together. His nephews have fond memories of their Uncle Jack taking them to movies, the arcade, and tennis courts. He was passionate about his New Orleans roots and often talked about his love for Mardi Gras and music. He will always be remembered as a very kind, soft spoken, easy going man who loved basketball, reading, his country, and most of all his family.
