Lynn Owen Cook
March 12, 1948 – January 23, 2026

Lynn Owen Cook, of Saint Louis, Missouri, formerly of Vichy, Missouri, passed away peacefully on January 23, 2026.

Born on March 12, 1948, in Vichy, Missouri, Lynn was the son of the late Leslie and Helen (née Bray) Cook. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anne B. Cook (née Jamieson), with whom he shared a life filled with love, devotion, and a dedication to their family.

Lynn is survived by his children, Aaron Cook, Adam Cook, and Elizabeth Cook, and by his cherished grandchildren, Aidan, Raelie, and Jamieson Cook, who brought him immense pride and joy. He is also survived by his brother, John (Pat) Cook, and his sister, Vivian Moon, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family who will fondly remember his kindness and sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Diane Swanson, Shirley Moore, Leslie H Cook Jr., Hobart Cook, and Dennis Cook.

Lynn had a lifelong love of sports, especially baseball and his beloved St. Louis Cardinals. He spent many years coaching his children's sports teams, always encouraging teamwork, perseverance, and good sportsmanship. His patience, dedication, and steady presence on the field left a lasting impact on countless young athletes and families in his community.

A graveside service will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery January 28, 2026, at 11:30 am, meeting by 11:15 at the Sylvan Springs Upper Parking Lot (https://www.mapquest.com/us/missouri/sylvan-springs-commuter-lot-449009428 ). A memorial service for Lynn will be held later this year.
