Mabel D. Adcox (nee Larsen) of Beverly Hills, FL passed away Thursday, April 14, 2022 at age 92.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 62 years, James B. Adcox, and her son-in-law, Donald E. Scanlon. Born in Tuckerman, AR on December 3, 1929.

She was known by almost everyone as "Mom." A member, Past Matron and 50+ member of Home Chapter No. 313 O.E.S.  Also a member of the Florida Horseshoe Pitchers Association, the National Horseshoe Pitchers Association and Beverly Hills Horseshoe Pitchers Wall of Fame.

Mrs. Adcox worked and retired from ITT Blackburn after 30 years and then moved to Beverly Hills, Florida.

She leaves behind her daughter, Doris Scanlon of Beverly Hills, FL and son, James Michael (Ramona) Adcox of Meta, MO; five grandchildren, Charles J. (Daphne) Lint of O'Fallon, MO, James Beau (Sydney) Adcox of St. Charles, MO, Dan (Amy) Scanlon of Madison, WI, Jennifer (Dan) Geerdts of Lake Mills, WI and Chad Adcox of Columbia, MO; great-grandmother of Danielle (Steve), Christopher (Maddie) and Caden Lint, Trevor and Calvin Geerdts, William and Libby Scanlon and Ryland Adcox; close family friends, Bruce Wright of St. Charles, MO and Cindy Cook of Florida.

Funeral at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Thursday, April 21 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
