Madonna L. Stanley

Beloved wife of Charles E. Stanley; dear mother of Greg (Cherie Coffey) Stanley, Gale Baniak, and Tina (James) Stinnett; loving grandmother of Gena (Andrew Brennan) Stanley, Paul (Jasmine George) Stanley, Chelsea (Kurt Kudrecki) Stanley, Chad (Samantha) Baniak, James Stinnett Jr, Julia Stinnett and loving great-grandmother of Jaxon Baniak and Magnolia Kudrecki; dear sister of the late Gladys (late Bob) Conner and the late Don (Choyse) Bader; dear aunt of the late Mike Bader, Tonya Schilli, Dina Herzog, Dawn Basler, Bob Conner, and Kathy Crismon.

Madonna was a teacher for many years with third grade being where she found her calling. She touched countless young lives with her patience and kindness. She was an avid reader and shared this love of reading with her family. She was involved with Youth for Understanding International Exchange and hosted 15 students from around the world in her home with Charlie. Madonna and Charlie loved to travel, visiting all 50 states plus numerous countries. She was involved with Incarnate Word Catholic Church where she created lifelong friendships and strengthened her faith. The thing that brought her the most joy in life was her family and her face would light up when she would see them.

Funeral Mass at Incarnate Word Catholic Church, 13416 Olive Blvd., Chesterfield, MO 63141 on Friday, October 2 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at church 1 hour prior to mass. Interment Valhalla Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or St. Luke’s Hospice Services, 101 St. Luke’s Center Dr., Chesterfield, MO 63017.
