Fran was the beloved wife of James William Fulton; dear mother (mother-in-law) of Katherine Anne Thomas-Dietz (Dale Gerard Dietz) and Thomas Mathew Fulton (Lindsay Andrea Fulton); dear grandmother of Monica Celeste Dietz, Elena Sierra Thomas-Dietz, and Bria Bay Fulton; dear great-grandmother of Jaxson James Nix and Jayden Lee Nix.
She was preceded in death by her dear parents John Nicholas Keating, Jr. and Frances Elliott Steele Keating, and her brother, John Nicholas Keating III.
Fran was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She graduated from Mount Saint Scholastica with a BA in English and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with an MA in English. She was passionate about music, language, books, art, travel, and researched extensively on the arts and cultural matters for her own understanding and pleasure. She had expert understanding of the music of Mozart. A lyric soprano, she studied with Robert McFarren at the St. Louis Conservatory. She sang for five years with the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, performing solos and choral works. In addition to actively engaging with the arts in her everyday life, Fran was an avid bird watcher and gourmet cook.
Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. A private family gathering will be held to honor Fran's life.
