Mary G. Lauber
January 28, 1959 - March 21, 2025

God called our beautiful, sweet, loving sister, daughter, aunt, and friend home early on Friday, March 21, 2025.  Mercifully, her five plus year battle with lung cancer is over.  Much appreciation to the many people who visited her during her last few days. Mary was an amazing, wonderful blessing to so many people...

- a loving daughter, sister, cousin, & "Mimi" to a wealth of adoring nieces & nephews

- a friend of so many from her childhood on Villa Coublay and Our Lady of the Pillar, her high school days at St. Joseph's Academy (and the accompanying bunch of friends from DeSmet), college friends at St. Mary's Notre Dame, and a treasure chest of colleagues from her nursing career

- an angelic ICU nurse - arguably the most skilled, caring and dedicated one St. John's Mercy ever had - followed by decades of saintly cardiac nursing excellence with Mercy Cardiology group at St. John's. It is nearly impossible to imagine how many thousands of people loved Mary for her angelic nursing skills and personalized loving care for them.

Mary now rejoins her medical sidekick, our dad Joseph Lauber MD, in heaven.  On behalf of Mom (Sue) and Pat, Joe, Gerry and Angela, Cindy and Arnie, Louise and Jack and our entire family, we gratefully thank you all for your prayers and kind words.  Blessings and Good Health to all.

Celebration of Life Service at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur on Saturday, May 3 at 11:30 a.m. with visitation from 10 a.m. until time of service.
