Parato
October 6, 1940 – March 1, 2026
Mary Jane Freeman Parato
Mary Jane Parato, a devout Catholic and the cherished heart of her family, passed away on March 1, 2026. Born on October 6, 1940, Mary was a woman of extraordinary energy and warmth. To her family, she was quite simply the most wonderful woman they have ever known, and the love she portrayed throughout her life will be forever remembered and missed.
Mary's life was centered around her faith and her deep devotion to her husband of 66 years, Angelo J. Parato Sr. Together, they created a legacy of love that spans four generations.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Angelo, and their four children: Joe (Elizabeth) Parato, Nick Parato, Tony Parato, and Angela (John) Lohkamp. She was the proud grandmother of ten: Angelo (Ashley) Parato, David (Megan) Parato, Mary (McCarthy) Grewe, Margaret (Matt) Davidson, Jack Lohkamp, Brantley Lohkamp, Cooper (Emily) Lohkamp, Anthony Parato, Bianca Parato, and Nicholas Parato. Her joy continued to grow with her five great-grandchildren: James, Dominic, Olivia, Dylan, and Lucas Parato.
The Parato family is currently mourning her loss and sincerely appreciates the prayers and support of all who knew and loved her.
