Mary Rose
Schuster
December 10, 1954 – July 24, 2025
Mary Rose Schuster was received into the comforting embrace of our Lord on July 24, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.
Born on December 10, 1954, to loving parents Joseph Allendorf and Gertrude Meyer Allendorf, Mary was a devoted member of the Catholic Church. She lived this devotion daily through active participation in the Legion of Mary, stewardship to clergy, and acts of service to her community. Whether delivering rosaries or hosting luncheons for priests, bringing joy to others was what motivated Mary Rose to greet each day with purpose.
She was a proud member of many meaningful organizations, notably the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem and The Variety Club, where she served as President Emeritus.
Mary is survived by her beloved husband, Reinhard, her daughter, Ashlea, and her son-in-law, Aaron. She felt truly blessed by the many cherished friendships she held throughout her life. Whether it was a birthday, holiday, or a regular Tuesday, she loved to share a happy message or thoughtful gift.
"Go, See, Do" was her motto. She delighted in exploring new restaurants, cities around the world, and new hobbies. Her many talents included gardening, playing little pranks, singing, driving just a little over the speed limit (she wasn't called "Hot Rod Hannah" for nothing), and finding the best deals on a shopping trip.
Mary Rose loved visiting family and seeing the sights in Europe, with Paris holding a special place in her heart. Her family adored making these memories with her and will miss doing so more than words can express.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 1st, at Saint Clare of Assisi Church, 15642 Clayton Road, Ellisville, MO 63011. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m., prior to the Mass.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Mary Rose's memory to the Autoimmune Association. https://autoimmune.org/about-us/?campaign=697841
In God's garden of grace, a beautiful soul has found eternal rest.
