Michael Brian Gedera, 57, passed away on Sunday, October 8, 2023.

Mike was the beloved son of Michael and Karen Gedera. He is survived and loved by his wife, Audrey Gedera. He was much loved by his son, Jordan Petry, his aunt and uncle, Michael and Janet Draper and his aunt Linda DeGuire.

After graduating from the University of Kansas with advanced degrees, Mike worked for Boeing for over 30 years as a research physicist in Phantom Works. Mike had many friends and co-workers who supported him during his last months of declining health and he appreciated this very much. He was a good man who will be missed very much.

Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Thursday, October 12 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Monica Church, 12136 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, Friday, October 13 at 10 a.m. with visitation at church one hour prior to service. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Fontbonne University ( Ways to Give - Fontbonne University ) or The Travis Manion Foundation ( https://www.travismanion.org/) .
