Michael James Greenwald

Known to his friends as "Mike," was born on October 14th, 1938 to John Baptist and Marion (Kinsella) Greenwald. He passed away peacefully on August 22nd, 2022.

Mike was a native of Wisconsin where he met his wife of 60 years, Barbara Anne (Leary) Greenwald, who he shares three children with, Michael Greenwald Jr, Andrew "Andy" (Sarahmarie) Greenwald and Jennifer (Andy) Klearman. He is loved by many, including his siblings Nancy (the late Ed) Bauman and John (Zaida) Greenwald, and his grandchildren Jessie Klearman, Kevin Klearman, Judithanne Greenwald, Joseph Greenwald and Steven Hoffert.

Michael was a veteran of the US Army, and was a dedicated employee of the US government. His work brought him to St. Louis, Missouri and he also spent much of his life in The Lake of The Ozarks and Florida. Mike was known for his love of fishing and the Green Bay Packers. He will be missed and remembered with love!

Funeral Mass at Incarnate Word Church, 13416 Olive Blvd., Chesterfield, MO on Monday, August 29 at 10 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Heart Association .
