Milton Stephen
Bruce
October 5, 1932 – December 18, 2024
Milton Stephen Bruce Wed., Dec. 18, 2024
Beloved husband of Jean Bruce (nee Plowright); dear father and father-in- law of Anne Susan (Russ Chittick) Bruce and Kathryn Elizabeth (Robert) Espeland; dear grandfather of Andrew Harrison Espeland and Sarah Kathryn Espeland; our dear uncle and friend.
We celebrate the vibrant life of Milton S. Bruce, beloved husband, father, and grandfather. His days were enriched with family and treasured moments, each filled with love and laughter.
A proud Korean War Era Army veteran, he served his country with honor. As a passionate Produce aficionado and dedicated hospital volunteer, Milton touched many lives. He was affectionately known as the "Enchanted Tree Man" for his tropical trees at the community high schools, which he grew in his greenhouse. His profound love for classical music often filled our home with the timeless melodies of his favorite composers.
We hold dear the countless hours spent building intricate train boards together, complete with charming houses and tunnels. Milton's creativity and passion for craftsmanship inspired us all. He took great pride in creating handcrafted display shelves for his children and grandchildren's keepsakes and was exceptionally creative with holiday decorations for our gardens.
Milton had a deep love for traveling with family and friends – especially to England, France, and Italy, embracing history, savoring culinary delights, and exploring different cultures.
His hugs and kisses were the best, a true testament to his warmth and affection. His legacy of love and kindness will forever live on in our hearts.
