Obituary

Pamela Lawson-Dunn, a passionate, outgoing, loving, and caring woman, passed away on the 20th of August, 2024. Born to John and Dovie Lawson on the 21st of November, 1955, Pamela was known to love fiercely and respect deeply. Her memorable lessons and nurturing spirit echo through the lives of those she left behind.

She is survived by her devoted husband Michael Dunn, her loving son Robert J. Higgins her cherished daughter-in-law Michelle Higgins and her treasured granddaughters, grandson & great granddaughter - Haley Higgins, Robert S. Higgins (Kaylee Higgins) & Nela-May Higgins. Pamela also leaves behind her loving sisters - Cheryl Thompson (Al), Joanie Graflage (Dan)and Cynthia Faye. Pivotal figures in her early life, Pamela was predeceased by her father, John Lawson and her mother, Dovie Lawson.

Pamela would light up at the sight of anything green, her favourite colour. Whether it was a piece of clothing, a piece of decor at home or even a simple turtle, it always brought a smile to her face. Her laughter and joy were infectious, filling every room she was in.

Pamela's greatest accomplishments were not quantifiable. They were not measured in certificates or accolades but in the warmth of her love and care. She took her role as a mother, Grammy, and Great Grammy to heart. The lessons she imparted, the hugs she gave, the stories she told, were not just duties to be performed, but a joy and a passion that filled her life.

In her spare time, Pamela thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family. Every gathering was an event, with Pamela at the heart of it, making sure everyone felt seen, heard and loved. Her endearing presence and unwavering love for her family will be greatly missed but cherished forever in the hearts of those she left behind.
