Obituary

Patricia Lou "Pat" Williamson, of Chesterfield, Missouri, passed away peacefully while surrounded by family on July 26, 2025.

Pat was born on October 13, 1937 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Van and Helen Thomas. She had a wonderful childhood growing up with her two younger brothers, Jim and Jack Thomas.

Pat was an exceptional student and a proud graduate of Academy High School in Erie Pennsylvania. There were few school-related activities "Patty Lou" wasn't a part of. As a result, she was voted "most active" in her senior class.

In 1956, Pat married "the only man I ever loved," her grade-school sweetheart, Robert Williamson, and continued "the greatest love story ever told" that they started in second grade. Together, Pat and Bob raised seven children, all of whom were born while Bob was stationed in Washington state. Over the 20 years of Bob's Air Force career, the family lived in many different locations around the world.

Pat was a sales associate for Famous Barr - Chesterfield for many years and remained with the company after it was acquired by Macy's.

Throughout much of her life, Pat remained active in various civic organizations such as the Creve Coeur Garden Club and the Creve Coeur Women's Club.

Pat is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Bob; son Robert Joseph Jr.; her mother and father; stepfather John Canavan; brother Jack; and brother-in-law, Jack Williamson.

Pat leaves behind six children: Sue Robertson (Russ) of Bentonville, Arkansas; Dave Williamson (Tania) of Port St., Joe, Florida; Linda Williamson of Chesterfield, Missouri; Karen Missler (RJ) of Port St. Joe, Florida; Gregg Williamson (Steve Richardson) of St. Louis, Missouri, and Denise Saverin (David) of Chesterfield, Missouri; five grandchildren: Stacey Venegas (Julian) of Chesterfield, Missouri; Tyler Robertson (Kate) of Glendale, Missouri; Brittany Ransom (Casey) of Bentonville, Arkansas; Emily Missler of Denver, Colorado; Dylan Floyd of Columbia, Missouri; three step-grandchildren, Samantha, Jack and Ian; and nine great-grandchildren: Gabe, Oscar, Lola, Olivia, Luke, Scarlett, Morris, Wesley and Paul; as well as nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania, Oklahoma, Washington State, Colorado Florida and California.

Pat was adored by her family and she will be missed and loved beyond measure, forever.
