Paul R. Vogler

Fri., May 26, 2023. Beloved husband of Julie Vogler (nee Valentine); dear father and father-in-law of Rebecca (Chris) Splain, Sarah Durrett and the late Jennifer Lynn Vogler; dear son of Maxine Louise Cowell and the late Carl Vogler; dear brother of Sue Vogler and Louise (Dale) Glenn; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.

Paul was an Air Force veteran and worked as an electrician for 40+ years at McDonnell-Douglas, Boeing and GKN Aerospace. Paul was known as the Christmas lights guy in Warrenton. People from all around the area knew about the Lights on Cannonball. For many years he brought so much joy to so many families during the Christmas season. He loved working on the display throughout the year. Paul's favorite part of doing the display each year was seeing all the families that would come to watch the dancing lights and going to the road to meet them and give out candy canes.

Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141 on Wed., May 31 from 3-7 p.m. Funeral service and burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital appreciated.
