Peter L. Leverenz
February 20, 1947 – November 7, 2024

Beloved husband of Frances Leverenz (nee Biedenstein); dear father and father-in-law of Arthur Leverenz, Elizabeth (Ben Horner) Leverenz and Martha (Scott) Burkhardt; loving grandfather of Genevieve Leverenz, Abigail, Henry, Frederick and Charles Horner and Duncan, Colton and Alexandria Burkhardt; caring brother-in-law to Rosemary Geisler; our dear uncle, cousin and friend.

Originally from Chicago, Peter moved to St. Louis almost 35 years ago for the benefit of his family.  He met his wife of 53 years at Monmouth College and spent his career in audio visual sales. Peter was a talented writer, avid reader, and loved jazz and classical music.  He enjoyed riding his bike and tinkering with electronics and his Studebaker.  As a devoted father he shared his love of the outdoors and wildlife.  His family loved him immensely and is filled with gratitude for his life.

Visitation at Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, on Sunday, November 10 from 3-6 p.m. Funeral Mass at St. Monica Catholic Church, 12136 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur on Monday, November 11 at 10 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, Humane Society of Missouri or Better Family Life.
