December 31, 1982 to March 18, 2023

Beloved wife of Anthony Work and daughter of Gloria (Jim) Stukenbroeker and Kevin Abbott; dear sister of Kelly (Yohana) Deleon, Robert (Heather) Stukenbroeker, Elizabeth (Ruben) Nussbaumer, Amanda (Max) Ernst and Matthew Stukenbroeker; dear aunt of Mason, Rhiannon, Flynn, Zoie, Ezra, Amy, Abby, Alison, Arlene, Alexander and Frederick; dear granddaughter of Marianna Stukenbroeker. Dear niece, cousin and friend to many.

Becky graduated from Ritenour High School, class of 2001. Following graduation, she joined the US Army. She served first as an MP Corrections Specialist (31E) then as a Human Intelligence Collector (35M). She served one tour in Iraq and one tour in Afghanistan. Over the years, she was stationed at Fort Knox, Fort Leavenworth, Joint Base Lewis McChord, Fort Huachuca, the 7 th Army Training Command in Grafenwoehr, Germany and finally, Fort Hood. She retired with the distinguished rank of Sergeant 1 st Class. During Becky's meritorious Army career, she earned several awards including a Bronze Star. She was a great leader and mentor, as she touched the lives of soldiers and civilians worldwide.

Visitation Sunday, April 2, from 1600 – 2000. The funeral service will be held the next day, Monday, April 03, at1000, Ortmann Funeral Home. Burial immediately following at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to www//soldiersbestfriend.org.

Bec loved her "Fur Babies" and volunteered with a local animal shelter, spreading her passion, caring for pups and kitties. She appreciated fine dining at Chick-Fil-A, the experience of consuming a frosty beverage, and all things fast made by Subaru.
