Richard John Giancola, 89, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed quietly away at his residence, surrounded by family on May 2, 2021. Army Veteran, American Legion 213 member, Local Union 1310 retiree, church volunteer, avid fisherman, STL Cardinal and Blues fan. He was a devoted partner to his late wife Patsy Kay (Jones) Giancola and a caring companion to former spouse Norma (Gerber-Partenheimer) Giancola.  Richard, a loving father, leaves behind his four children, Patrice (David) Neuwirth, Richard (Lisa) Giancola II, Stephanie Giancola, Timothy (Sherri) Giancola. He was a dedicated and doting papa to ten grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren, a wonderful brother, caring uncle, great friend, and neighbor.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Holy Spirit Church, 3120 Parkwood Ln., Maryland Heights, MO 63043 on Thur., May 6 at 11 a.m. with visitation at church 1 hour prior to service. Private interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
