On June 21, 1969, Richard married the love of his life, Sandra (Tucker) Kenney. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and faith.
Richard was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather. He was the loving father of Chad Kenney (Darriehn) and Karrie Kenney. He was a proud grandfather to Seyvon (Kelly), Lavon, Jonathan, Jazmine (Jarrett)
and Alexander. He was also a loving great-grandfather to Jordan, Jayla, and Jarrett Jr. Richard leaves behind his beloved goddaughter, Tracy (Gary), along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Richard enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. He loved watching WWE wrestling, going fishing and hunting, watching his favorite cowboy movies, and collecting sports cards. Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy.
Most importantly, Richard was a God-loving man whose faith was an important part of his life. He loved the Lord, cherished his wife, and deeply loved his family. His faith, devotion, and love for those closest to him will forever remain a part of his legacy.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Doris Kenney, and his brother, Douglas Kenney.
Richard will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him. Though he is no longer with us on earth, his love, faith, and cherished memories will live on forever in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
