RICHARD A SKOFF      April l5, 1937 - April 24, 2022

Beloved husband of Helen M. Skoff (nee Gerwitz) for 61 years; Son of Anton and Helen Skoff; Brother of Helen D. Skoff; Treasured Father of Mary Stecher (Jack), Mike (Bowden), Mark (Anne, deceased), Kathy Dolan (Dave), Brian (Doris); G-pa to 10, Kathleen Kinast (Chris), Shannon Johns (Matt), David & Elizabeth Skoff, Sean & Michael Skoff, Will & Ally Skoff, Ryan & Donovan Dolan; Great G-pa to Joseph and Lane Marie, with another on the way.

Rich was a proud graduate of Our Lady of Sorrows Grade School, St. Louis University High School, class of 1955 and St. Louis University and Graduate School. He retired from a 30 year career at Monsanto. Through the years, volunteer activities included work with St. Patrick Center and Incarnate Word St. Vincent de Paul Society. He devoted many hours to the Transition and Inaugural Commission of the City of Chesterfield, as well as being a member of the Chesterfield Police Personnel Board for 22 yrs. But his greatest joy, aside from an amazing marriage to Helen, was to be a loving supporter and active participant in the lives of his grandchildren.

Rich and his family have lived in Chesterfield for 53 years after being transferred back to his home town from San Jose, CA. He has been an active parishioner at Incarnate Word, also for 53 years. His smile, generosity, wit and humor will be missed by family, neighbors and friends from many connections over the years.
