Richard Stockglausner
Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection on Monday, May 16, 2022 at age 87. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Stockglausner (nee Corcoran). Loving father and father-in-law of Patricia Jaeger (Kurt), Mary Douglas (the late Michael), Susan Tellini (Emilio), Jim Stockglausner (Cathy), Rich (Teresa) Stockglausner and Bob Stockglausner (Kristi), and special friend Kathy Woods. Dear grandfather to Katie (Mark) Stephens, Joe (Rachel), Mary Kate (Will) Pennington, Claire, Jane, John, Sara, Henry, Sam, Caroline, Daniel, David, Kevin, Nathan, and Garrett. Dear great grandfather to Mason, Eva, Brooke, Teddy, Jack, and Josie.
Richard was a lover of great books, history, conservative politics, lively conversation, great food and entertaining friends and family on his baby grand. He delighted in hearing about the accomplishments of his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Richard will be remembered for the deep and abiding love he had for his family and his cherished wife of almost 60 years, Barbara. He will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral Mass Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 1424 S. First Capitol Dr., St. Charles, MO. Short visitation in lobby at 9:30 before Mass. Light lunch to follow Mass in Parish Hall. Interment at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery to follow.
In addition, there will be a Celebration of Life, Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 3-6 p.m., Knights of Columbus Hall, 5701 Hwy. N, Cottleville, MO, 63304.
In lieu of flowers, donations in may be made in Richard's name to the American Kidney Foundation.
