Robert D.
Berardino
January 24, 1949 – March 18, 2026
Robert Dennis Berardino
January 24, 1949 - March 18, 2026
Robert "Bob" Berardino, devoted husband, loving father, respected business leader, mentor, and friend to many, passed away peacefully at home, leaving behind a life defined by dedication, quiet strength, and deep love for family and friends.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Colleen (Donovan); his daughter, Sharon (Berardino) Verity, her husband, Adam Verity, of Jersey City, New Jersey, and his son, Michael Berardino, of Charleston, South Carolina; and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Florence Berardino, and his brothers, Francis and Richard Berardino.
Born and raised in Everett, MA, Bob graduated from Everett High School in 1967. He proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Following his tours of duty in Vietnam, he continued his commitment to service in his community. Bob was a letter carrier with the United States Postal Service while he put himself through college. He attended Salem State College and graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration.
Bob built a distinguished career in the printing industry spanning more than four decades. He spent his early career working with several companies in Massachusetts and Michigan, building the foundation of his expertise. In 2002, he began working for the Flesh Company in St. Louis,
MO. He rose to become President and Chief Operating Officer. His leadership contributed to the company's continued growth and its transition into the next chapter of its history. Bob retired from the Flesh Company in 2019.
Above all, Bob shared a deep and devoted partnership with his beloved wife, Colleen, with whom he built a life rich in love, companionship, and shared experiences. Together, they found joy in both everyday moments and meaningful adventures, traveling and creating lasting memories along the way. A place especially dear to both Bob and Colleen was Saugatuck, Michigan—a seasonal retreat along the shores of Lake Michigan where Bob found peace in the serenity and small-town charm. Whether enjoying quiet moments by the water or simply embracing the slower pace of life, he found it to be a place that brought him great happiness.
Bob was an avid dog lover, and over the years, he and Colleen opened their home and hearts to many dogs, each one a cherished and spoiled part of their family.
Bob was also a lifelong and passionate fan of the Boston Red Sox. He relished the opportunity to see them play in person whenever he could, and just as much enjoyed cheering them on from the comfort of home.
Bob will be remembered for his steady presence, his strong work ethic, and the love he shared so generously with those closest to him.
