Robert "Bob" Meyer - Tuesday, December 19, 2023. Born January 9, 1935 in
St. Louis, Missouri.
Beloved husband of the late Emily Lohmann Meyer.  Dear father to Ann
(Gregg) Ripp, Cindy (Ken) Kempf, Bob (Kathy) Meyer and Tom (Lori) Meyer.
Devoted grandfather to Kyle (Angela) Ripp, Betsy Ripp, Stephen (Katie)
Kempf, Brian (Jennifer) Kempf, Katie (Klint) Youngmeyer, Emily (James)
Walsh, Bobby (Courtney) Heth, Andrew Meyer, Christopher Meyer and
Matthew Meyer.  Dear great grandfather to Elena, Charlie, Anna, Emma,
Wyatt, Rhys, Lily, Avery, Isla, Lainey, Callie and Peyton. Our dear uncle,
great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

A proud graduate from St. Louis University, Bob worked for 40 years as an
Electrical Engineer at Emerson / ESCO. He became a member of the Knights
of Columbus in 1953 and was a member of Council 6500 at St. Monica's.
Bob volunteered for 17 years at the Academy of St. Louis and served as a
Community Educator for the AARP Driver's safety course. His Mondays were
spent volunteering at the Food Pantry through the Ascension St. Vincent
DePaul Society.

"Tall Bob" as he was known at the Food Pantry, was a gentle giant who often
attended 6:30 am mass at the Little Church at Ascension.  He had a dry
sense of humor, a ready smile and could always be counted on for a "dad
joke". He loved desserts, despised vegetables, enjoyed winning at card
games and was always willing to lend a helping hand to family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Academy of St. Louis at 505 St. Joseph
Lane, Manchester MO 63021; or the Food Pantry through the Ascension St.
Vincent DePaul Society at 230 Santa Maria Dr, Chesterfield, MO 63005 are
appreciated.

Services:  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 26 th  at
Ascension Church in Chesterfield, 230 Santa Maria Dr, Chesterfield MO.
Visitation at 9:30 followed by the funeral mass at 10:00.  Interment at
Resurrection Cemetery.
