Bob's long and remarkable life consisted of serving his country in the Navy during the Korean War, playing minor league baseball and having a long career as President of Sales for TSI Graphics, Inc. He was a devoted husband to Jo and a great father to his two sons Bob and Mark.
Retirement meant a new chapter in service for Bob as he worked with many local charities including Wings of Hope, St. Nicholas Church Food Pantry and most notably at Friends of Kids of Cancer. During his tenure at Friends of Kids with Cancer, Bob was instrumental in establishing and planning the annual golf tournament, which has become one of the premier charity golf events in the area that helps raise hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to help children with cancer. An avid golfer, Bob was still playing frequently and always shot below his age.
Bob was a devoted Catholic and was actively involved with the Knights of Columbus and numerous other Catholic organizations.
Throughout Bob's life, almost everyone he met became his friend. He always saw the good in people and was warm, kind and generous with anyone in need. He will be greatly missed.
