Robert Inman Stearns Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Fri., Sept. 18, 2026

Beloved husband of Sandra Stearns (nee Nemanick); dear father and father-in-law of Patricia (Bradley) Becker and Diana Bangert; dear grandfather of Eric (Gizem) and Alexis Becker and Jana Meinel; dear great-grandfather of Ruzgar; dear brother of George Stearns; dear brother-in-law of Christine (Michael) Aide; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Robert lived a full life. Robert earned a PhD in Chemistry from Tulane University and proudly served his country as an officer in the United States Army. He had a long career in industry. Robert also enjoyed teaching chemistry at the University of Missouri-St. Louis.

Robert and Sandra shared a love for square dancing and travel.

Visitation at St. Monica Church, 12136 Olive Blvd. Creve Coeur, Tues., Sept. 29. from 10-11 a.m. Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery
