Robyn Lee German, age 48 from St.  Louis, MO, passed away unexpectedly from Cardiac Arrest on April 23, 2024.

She was born June 23, 1975 in St. Louis, MO and married to her husband Chris Frey on July 7, 2007.  They have two children, a son Elijah, 19 and daughter Chloe, 17.

She is survived by her husband Chris, son Elijah, daughter Chloe, parents, Jim and Ginger German, brother and sister in Law, Chip and Jo German, sister, Shannon Levart,nephew Christian Levart and niece Makayla Levart and beloved pets, dog Maple and cats CoCo and Ellie.

Such are the dry facts about an effervescent woman.  Robyn brought a brilliant light into a room with her huge smile and bone crushing hugs, even for strangers.  She loved everyone and had innumerable friends.

Robyn loved her family, her pets, food, crystals, reading, travel, hiking, nature ,flowers and spontaneous fun.  Whether she was doing cartwheels in the aisle of Luckys market, or riding a child's rocking horse outside a store, you could expect the unexpected from her.  Being with her was always an adventure!

Despite long hours and sometimes difficult circumstances, she worked primarily in the food industry because she loved feeding people.  Her dream was to have a taco truck or a small bistro so she could feed everyone.

Robyn was very empathetic, loving, kind and very funny, so few people realized that she battled depression.

Many, many people, especially her family, are devastated that her bright light is no longer shining for us.

A Memorial Service will be held May 1, visitation from 1:00 PM till 4:00 PM at Ortmann Funeral Home, 9222 Lackland, St. Louis, MO 63114
