Beloved husband of Janet Williams (nee Grau), dear father and father-in-law of Stacy (Rob) Holland and Chris (Angie) Williams, dear grandfather of Sera and Matt, dear brother and brother-in-law of Carroll and Debbie Williams, Janet Nichols and Marie and Gary Olson, our dear uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Ron was born in Puxico, MO on 15 May 1940 to Eldon & Edna Williams. Ron's family moved to St. Louis area in 1950 and he started in the Ritenour School District, graduating in 1958. He started as a co-op at McDonnell Douglas while enrolled at what is now Missouri University of Science & Technology in Rolla, MO, attaining Bachelor and Master degrees in Mechanical Engineering. He worked many years in the aerospace industry for McDonnell, Sverdrup and Jacobs Engineering, including on the Mercury Capsule and a launch facility for the space shuttle in California, before retiring in 2004.

Ron and Jan married in 1962 adding to their family their daughter Stacy and son Chris in the late 1960s. As his kids got older, he was a volunteer coach for them up through junior high. He enjoyed spending a lot of time with family and friends throughout the years, working on cars, house renovations for many family members, playing golf and cards, doing genealogy with Jan, making lots of new friends along the way.

Visitation at the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur Fri., July 15, from 4-8 p.m. Service Sat., 10 a.m. Interment Bellerive Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Heart Association appreciated.
