Rose M. Kennedy (nee Chiaurro) baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Friday, May 4th, 2018 . Beloved wife of the late John J. Kennedy Sr.; dear sister of Eleanor Schmidt, the late Elvira Geragosian and late Juanita Turin; dear sister-in-law to Francis (Murph) and Marge Murphy of Peoria, AZ; dear mother and mother-in-law of Ted (Deborah) Kennedy, Michelle Kennedy, Joe (Diane) Kennedy , Larry Kennedy, Donna (Doug) Anderson, Angela (Brad) Allensworth, Phil (Connie) Kennedy, Frances Kennedy (Martin Faupel) , Eva Kennedy (Jeffrey Fletcher) , Susan Kennedy Stranquist (Michael Bruns) , Charlie (Cathi) Kennedy , and Stephen Kennedy (Katie) .
Our dear grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother of 50+, sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, cousin and friend.
We cannot keep her here no matter how hard we try.
Life will be different when she is not here to share.
But we have each other to hold and for each other to care.
The tears will flow and streams will moisten our cheeks.
She has been our strength and now we feel so weak.
We have each other and remember we do not face this hour alone.
We have the promise of eternal life granted by Christ upon His throne.
She always opened her home and all were free to come in.
Now she will have a new home where we all shall meet again.
God's Blessing and Peace be with us all.
Visitation is Monday, May 7th from 2-8 p.m. at Ortmann's with special remembrances starting at 6 p.m . Funeral mass on Tuesday morning, May 8th, at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church, 8860 Tudor Ave., Overland, MO . Interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
