Asleep in Jesus January 20, 2024, born to Rudolph and Selma (nee Schiff) on June 28,1935. Beloved husband of the late Frances J Kuhlmann (Scott), Dear Father of Kimberly (Mike) O'Shea and Karen (Kevin) Watts, Dear Grandfather of Darby O'Shea and Michael O'Shea, Dear Great Papa of Arya & Summer Dawson, Dear Brother of the late Margaret (late Bill) Meier, the late Louis (late Marge) Kuhlmann, Richard (Doris) Kuhlmann, Mildred (late Larry) Meyr, the late Paul (late Joan) Kuhlmann and the late Grace (late Ray) Williams, Dear Uncle, Great Uncle and friend to many.
Rudy grew up in Overland and attended Lutheran High School. He served his country in the US Army. Rudy was very involved in the Overland Community as an active member of the Overland Lions Club and served on the Board of Adjustment for the City of Overland for many years.
Rudy was an avid golfer with two (2) Hole in One's to his credit! He played many sports, but especially loved being on the Our Redeemer Church bowling team and Slow Pitch Softball team. He coached his daughters' softball team, the Renegades, for 10 years.
Rudy loved to watch football and enjoyed putting together football pools. He loved watching and attending Cardinal games with his wife, Fran. They had season tickets for years and truly made attending each game an event, especially watching from The Stadium Club.
Rudy always tried to make everything fun and enjoyed a good laugh. He loved to spoil and surprise his children and grandchildren and spent many memorable vacations, games and events with family and friends. Rudy will be missed.
