Ruth Clubb, 94 of Chesterfield, passed away after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, April 26 ^th . Born in Warren, Ohio, in 1922 and graduated from Heidelberg University in 1944, her years were a testament to her devotion to family, church and friends. She was a faithful member of Bonhomme Presbyterian Church, having served as an Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and as head of the Wedding Committee.

She was active in many civic organizations in years past, and was a member of the River Valley Garden Club, the P.E.O and was known for her friendly efficiency, great entertaining, decorating and warmth. She was also recognized as an avid, competitive tennis player in ladies and mixed doubles play. While playing inter-club tennis for Woodsmill Racquet Club, and participating in St. Louis and National Senior Tennis matches, she won many tournament trophies and reached the Final-Four in the National Senior Tennis games three times. She also enjoyed playing duplicate bridge with her many like-minded friends.

She is survived by her husband, Al Clubb, their three children, Nancy (and Mike) Burky, Wendy (and Bill) Parmelee, and Robert Clubb; along with grandchildren Alissa Parmelee, Kimberly Stunkel, Stephanie Clubb, Maggie Clubb and Andrew Clubb; and great-grandson Cruz.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 29 ^th , at 11:00am at Bonhomme Presbyterian Church, 14820 Conway Road, Chesterfield. There will be a reception immediately following the service in the church Commons to receive friends and celebrate Ruth's life.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made (in memory of Ruth Clubb) to the music program Sound Investment Fund / Bonhomme Presbyterian Church, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
