Ruth Holloran Moore, 84 of Ladue Missouri, passed away fortified by the sacraments on May 20, 2026. She was born on November 2, 1941, to parents, Mark and Ruth Holloran.

She is the cherished mother to Ruthie Ahlering (Peter Ahlering), Kathleen Tighe, and the proud grandparent to Peter, Drew, Ian and Sophie Ahlering. She is also the loving sister to Phil Holloran (Susie Holloran). She is preceded in death by her husband, James Moore, her parents, and her brothers, Mark (Sharon Holloran) and Richard.

Ruth was a graduate of Villa Duchesne. She worked for many years in the fashion industry as a model and fashion coordinator and ended her career in sales for Frontenac Tennis Club. She went on to volunteer for Meals on Wheels. Her great joy was spending summers in Charlevoix, Michigan where her family owned a cottage in the Belvedere Club.

She was a devoted Catholic, a beautiful person with a great sense of humor who made everyone she met feel comfortable and valued. 

Funeral services will be held at St. Anselm Parish, 530 S. Mason Rd. St. Louis, MO, 63141 on May 28th at 11:00 a.m. beginning with visitation at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Villa Duchesne School, 10801 Conway Road, St. Louis, MO, 63131 or a charity of one's choice.
