Sandra June Clark
June 13, 1944 - December 4, 2023
There is a sweet new beautiful soul in Heaven. Sandra June Clark, 79, passed peacefully in her sleep at home on December 4, 2023, blanketed by the love, thoughts and prayers of family and friends near and far.
A faithful and gracious lady filled with love and devotion, she never missed the chance to share her warm hugs, smiles and encouragement. Her smile and laughter were contagious. She enjoyed gardening, puzzles, and reading—especially her Holy Bible. She treasured time spent making memories with her loved ones and reminiscing about a full and joyous life lived in Paragould, Arkansas, St. Louis and Silex, Missouri and Durango, Colorado.
Though Sandy had a successful career in banking for many years and running a small business later in life, if ever asked, she would say her most important job was that of mother. She raised and is survived by her three sons and was proud of the men and fathers they grew to become: Rodney (and Dawn) Crosno, Steven Crosno and Jeffrey (and Judy) Crosno.
Sandy considered all babies to be blessings from God and treasured her grandchildren: Katelynn Crosno, Courtney (and Scott) Blankenship, Maegan (and Mike) Hamrick, Jonathon Crosno, Danielle Crosno and Corbin Crosno. Affectionately called Grandmommy, she nurtured family values and created special memories that they will hold dear in their hearts for the rest of their lives...visits to the country, bonfires, holiday gatherings, Christmas tree cutting and entertaining performances, special recipes, a family road trip to Paragould and so many more.
She counted continued blessings when great-grandchildren Lily, Griffin and Benjamin Hamrick, and Loxlie Blankenship arrived. Sandy loved the sound of their laughter and seeing their delight in playing with old toys she had saved through the years. Her wind-up Jack-in-the-Box was a favorite giggle-getter!
Sandy is also survived by her brother, Dan (and Barbara) Bateman, special nephews and nieces Shawn Bateman, Jessica (and Robert) Ashby and Zach (and Mallory) Bateman, as well as their children and many other family and special friends who loved her.
She was a devoted daughter, lovingly caring for her parents Melvin and Winnie Bateman, and a loving wife to Tom Clark who all preceded her in death.
To honor her wishes, there will be an intimate graveside service at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery, 740 N. Mason Rd., Creve Coeur, MO 63141 at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 7.
Sandy wanted to share one final message with everyone: "All my love to all my boys and girls. May you always feel me in the wind." ~~~
The family requests donations to be sent to Children's Homes, Inc. , 5515 Walcott Rd., Paragould, AR 72450.
