Sherry Townsend Frasier, passed away March 23, 2024. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Sherry was born in St. Louis County, MO, on December 9, 1961. She graduated from Ritenour High School, Class of 1980, and earned her Associate's Degree from Southwest Missouri State University. Sherry and her husband, Rich, were married in Springfield, Missouri and lived all over the US before making a home in Texas, where they lived for many years. In her professional life, Sherry worked in crisis management, including working for FEMA for several years.

Sherry was preceded in death by her mother and father, Wilma and Robert Townsend, sister Diane Townsend, father-in-law, Melvin Frasier, and husband, Rich, with whom she shared an inseparable bond.

Sherry is survived by her sister Sandra Murray and brother-in-law Jim, brother Wayne Townsend and sister-in-law Sherry, brother-in-law Jim Frasier and his wife Connie, and many nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held at Ortmann Funeral Home at 9222 Lackland Road in Overland, MO, on Thursday, March 28 from 4-8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to the Epilepsy Foundation in Sherry's honor. As an organ donor, her last earthly act was helping others. Sherry Townsend Frasier's legacy of love will continue to live on in those who were fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
