Shirley Marie Vien (nee Frischauf)

Baptized in the Hope of Christ's Resurrection and Strengthened by the Sacraments of the Holy Catholic Church, died May 1, 2022, at age 90.  Born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Frank and Dorothy Frischauf.

Beloved wife of the late J. Rogers Vien for 54 years; dearest mom and mother-in-law of Mary Grady (the late Bill) Thieret, Gary (Mary) Vien, Vickie Vien, Diane Vien (Curtis Melchior), Fr. John Vien, and the late Jeffrey Vien; loving Grandma of Michelle (Phillip) Williams, Lisa (Mark) Millay, Jennifer (Tim) Littmann, Charlie Thieret, Kathryn Vien, Laura Vien, Gretchen (Josh) Day, and Claire (Miles) Lampo; cherished Great-Grandma to Trinity, Maria, Amelia, Anne, Annabelle, Grady, Louis, Juniper, and Mac; dear sister of Jim (Joan) Frischauf and the late Linda Frischauf; dear Aunt, Great Aunt, Cousin, Parishioner at St. Monica Catholic Church, Operating Room Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Kirkwood, and friend to many.

Visitation at Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Boulevard, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from 4:00pm till 8:00pm. Funeral Mass at St. Monica Catholic Church, 12136 Olive Boulevard, on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at 10:00am. Burial at St. Monica Cemetery. Following the burial, all are welcome to continue the celebration of Shirley's life at Il Bel Lago, 11631 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Mo 63141.
