It is with a broken heart that we announce the sudden death of our beloved baby daughter, Sophie Lauren Tornatore. Sophie was born sleeping on July 30, 2023 to her parents Brent and Jayme Tornatore and big sister Mia Lauren Tornatore. She is the precious granddaughter of Kyle & Maureen Armstrong and Fran Tornatore, the dear niece of Aaron & Lindsay (Armstrong) Wesley, Dan & Sarah (Armstrong) Schuette, and Matt Tornatore, and the sweet baby cousin of Oliver, Rowan, and Myles Wesley.
Sophie Lauren is welcomed into heaven by her aunt Lauren Armstrong and her grandpa Don Tornatore.

Brent, Jayme and Mia were overjoyed to soon welcome Sophie into their family. She was an answered prayer, long-awaited and treasured more than words can say. The overwhelming love and excitement that Brent and Jayme felt as they anticipated Sophie's birth was evident each and every day. Jayme welcomed others to touch her growing belly and constantly shared her love of pregnancy and the miracle of Sophie's life inside her. She cherished feeling baby Sophie's kicks and movements as they brought indescribable joy and peace, reassuring her parents that she was thriving.

Sophie's passing was unexpected and tragic after what had been a healthy and uncomplicated pregnancy. Sophie was perfect in every way, weighing 2lbs 14oz and 16.5 inches in length. Though her life was short, all Sophie ever knew was the warmth and safety of her mother's womb, the adoring voices of her family, and her parent's immeasurable love.

A visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm on Saturday August 12, 2023 at Ortmann-Stipanovich Funeral Home in Creve Coeur with a memorial service beginning at 1:00pm in the chapel. The family would like to thank all their friends and family for all the love and support shown to them during this devastating time. They would also like to send a very heartfelt thank you to Jayme's Mercy Labor and Delivery family for all the incredible, kind, and compassionate care they received while in the hospital suffering Sophie's loss.
