Obituary

Thomas Patrick Bradley, Jr., baptized into the hope of Christ's Resurrection, on January 23, 2024
at the age of 93. He was the beloved husband of 54 years to Sandy Bradley; dear father of Brenna
Bradley, Thomas (Diane) III, Justin (Maggie) Bradley, and Ryan (Jenny) Bradley; cherished grandfather
of Michael, Maisie, Aine, Evie, and Emma. He was the eldest child, born of the late Thomas P. and Ann
Bradley(nee Kausch); dear brother of Robert (Judy) Bradley, Patrick (Ann) Bradley, the late Julianne (late
Ronald) Lawrence, and Carole (Wayne) Vandergriff. He was the dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Tom graduated from St Ann's parish school in 1944, St Louis University High School in St Louis
in 1948. He later received a degree in business management from City College Washington University. He
served in the Missouri Naval Air National Guard for 10 years stationed out of Lambert Field. He retired as
a Group Manager of Facilities from McDonnell Douglas in 1992 after over 40 years of service.

Tom's first job was working in his parents' business, Bradley's Bar and Garden located on St.
Ann's Lane in Normandy, Missouri for many years. He volunteered at Robinwood West Swim Club,
Robin Wood West Community Improvement District, the Community firefighters of the Normandy Fire
Protection District, and St. Monica's Church Parish Finance Committee.

Tom was a dedicated father, brother, and son. His proudest accomplishments were his family,
children, and grandchildren. He was a happy, sincere family man, and spent many hours with his children
as they grew up at the swim club, sporting events, and working at the farm. He was a man of integrity and
dedicated to the teachings of the Catholic Church of which he raised his family. He never lost his famous
sense of humor and wit, which he often used on doctors and nurses in his last years.

Tom enjoyed retirement and the many trips overseas with Sandy to Europe including Portugal,
Spain, France, Germany, Italy and Ireland. Tom was a dual citizen of both the United States and Ireland
and took great pride in his Irish heritage. He loved taking road trips around the United States and Canada.
He loved spending time with other retired friends especially Gary, Vince and Gerry.

Tom passed away peacefully at home with Sandy at his side after going into hospice care on
December 28, 2023. The visits, phone calls, letters, and cards that Tom received during the final weeks of
his life were a tremendous source of joy, peace, and comfort to him.
