Obituary

Our beloved Thomas Glenn Wagner, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Friday July 28th 2023 at the age of 65 after a 22 year heroic battle with cancer surrounded by his wife and four children.

He was born in St. Louis, Missouri on March 29th, 1958 to Charles; Virginia Wagner (nee Washburn). His childhood in Ferguson, Missouri instilled a lifelong passion for all things automotive and aviation. Tom and Mary (nee Murray), married for 42 years, first met at Busch Stadium in 1976 and wed on June 5, 1981. Tom enjoyed the outdoors, wildlife, fishing, and camping on the Meramec River at the family property for many years.
After earning an Airframe & Powerplant certificate at Parks College in St. Louis, Tom worked as an Aircraft Mechanic and Aircraft Inspector since 1979 for Ozark Airlines, TWA, and American Airlines.

He leaves behind his children; Alyssa Zerr (Bill), Kristin Wagner, Brian Wagner (Mikey), Andrew Wagner (Rachel); grandchildren Justin, Ava, Paige, and Wayne. He was preceded in death by his father Charles Wagner and brother James Wagner. Beloved brother of David Wagner (Bobbi), Anne Moll (Keith), and brother-in-law of Gail Wagner.

Funeral services will be held at Incarnate Word Parish, 13416 Olive Blvd. Chesterfield, MO 63017 on Friday, Aug. 4th at 11:00 a.m. with an hour of visitation at 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
