Timothy J. Britt
June 22, 1946 – June 29, 2023

Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection. Beloved husband of the late Mary Leigh Britt (nee Keen); dear father of Patrick (Emily) Britt and James (Lauren) Britt; loving grandfather of Jack, Maggie, Murphy and Turner Britt; dear brother of Patrick "#2" (Audrey) Britt, Terry (Norma) Britt, the late Mike (Marilyn) Britt and the late Cathy (Jeff) Shank; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Tim was a US Army Veteran serving his country in the Vietnam War. He owned and operated a successful barge business. He served as the mayor of the Pasadena Park for 35+ years, a dedicated public servant to the community in which he loved. And most importantly, he was a loving husband and father.

Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann Catholic Church, 7530 Natural Bridge Rd., Normandy, MO 63121 on Wednesday, July 5 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation at church from 10 a.m. until the time of mass. Burial with military honors will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery on Thursday, July 6. Funeral procession will depart from the Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, MO 63141 at 9:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Ann Men's Club.
