Timothy Phung, 53, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on October 17 th, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. He was a beloved son, husband, brother, father, and friend. His memory will forever live in the hearts of those who know and love him.

Tim was born on August 28 th, 1970, to Edward and Anna Phung in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam. He moved to the United States during his grade school years. After Tim graduated from high school, he pursued a degree in Biology at the University of Missouri St. Louis. His initial dream was to be a marine biologist where he briefly did an internship down at the Keys. After graduation, Tim decided to stay in St. Louis to be closer to family and friends. He worked in multiple industries mainly focused on technical support ranging from schools, neighborhood housing services, medical equipment, and logistics. On June 12 th, 2004, Tim married the love of his life, Sandy. They went on to have 2 wonderful children, Cindy and Andrew. In addition to his professional development, Tim was a passionate photographer and an avid traveler. His unwavering legacy of love, compassion, benevolence, and generosity has touched so many people and will continue to inspire us. We will miss him dearly but take comfort in the lasting impact he had on our lives.

Tim is survived by his dad, Edward; his wife, Sandy; his brothers Bill and Tony; his sister, Karen; and his children, Cindy and Andrew.

Visitation is from 9 am to 11 am, service is 11 am to 12 pm and will be held at Ortmann Stipanovich Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd, Creve Coeur, MO 63141 on Friday, October 27 th, 2023. Burial to follow at Bellerive Gardens Cemetery, 740 N. Mason Road, St. Louis MO 63141. The family kindly requests that no memorial donations be made.
