Vincent James Candela passed away on November 14th, 2023, surrounded by family wife and daughter. He was born in St. Louis, MO on October 18, 1927. He is survived by Spouse: Cecelia Candela, Children: Dennis Candela, Terry Candela, April Candela, Carol Janoaz and Terry Worsham; Brothers: Vito Candela and Fred Urban and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Vincent served in World War II as a store clerk in the Navy from September 12, 1945, to October 13, 1948, in the Asiatic Pacific on the USSLST 744 and USS Eldorado with honorable discharge. After serving in the Navy, Vincent work as a Union Painter and Tapestry until his retirement age. Vincent during the 1960 was a coach for all boys' baseball league for the community while living in Arizona. Vincent enjoyed traveling to visit family or for entertainment when not working and taking care of his family.

Memorial Services will be held at the Jefferson Barracks on November 30th at 1030 a.m. with full military honors. Please join in a celebration of Vincent Candela's life.
