Wayne E. Sprehe
June 2, 1935 – March 1, 2022

Wayne Sprehe currently of St Louis, Mo, formerly of Centralia, IL was called to his heavenly home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Wayne was married to Elizabeth Sprehe (nee Minner) for 50 years and later divorced.  Beloved father and father-in-law of Jana (Jay) Tull, Jill Sprehe and Amy (Robert) Faerber; loving grandfather of Ethan (Sydney) Engele, Elliott (Jessica) Engele, Elizabeth Engele and Elle Faerber; dear step grandfather of Sadie Tull, Stewart Tull, Dil Tull and Amelia Tull; expecting great-grandfather of 2 great-granddaughters; dear brother of the late Robert Sprehe, Ruth Wernsman and Marilyn Howell; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Wayne was very social, loved all sports, especially the St. Louis Cardinals, enjoyed playing golf, and achieved the title of Life Master as a bridge player. He was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church, current member of Village Lutheran Church.

Memorial Service at Village Lutheran Church, 9237 Clayton Rd., Ladue, MO 63124 on Saturday, March 5 at 11 a.m. with visitation at church from 10-11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Village Lutheran Church or the National Kidney Foundation.
