William "Bill" Harold Besancenez, a devoted family man and pillar of his community, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026. Born to the late Joseph and Stella Besancenez. Bill lived a life defined by hard work, faith, and unwavering commitment to those he loved.

He was the beloved husband of Fran Besancenez and the late Virginia Besancenez. Bill's legacy continues through his children and stepchildren: Willy (Sherri) Besancenez, Linda (Bob) Macker, Tom (Debbie) Besancenez, David (Deanna) Besancenez, Donna (Tim) Kelly, Gerald Besancenez, Barbara (Will) Boughton, Joe Besancenez, Julie Coombs (Greg Marquart), and the late Laura Hiler.

Bill's joy was found in his large sprawling family. He was Papa, Pop, and Papa Bill to his grandchildren Michael, Chris, Nicole, Jake, Taylor, Beau, Brendan, Benjamin, Blair, Blake, Bethany, Zachary, Eric, Jack, Luke, Kurt, Morgan, Evan, Pat, Virginia, Lane, Vivian, Shelby, Dawson, Jamie, Jessica, and the late Michaela.

Bill was great-grandfather to Lucas, Owen, Lucy, Finn, Bradley, Blake, Brooks, Quinn, Connor, Cameron, Sloane, Amelia, Mason, and Madelyn.

Bill was preceded in death by his siblings Mill Brenner, Joseph Besancenez and Robert Besancenez. He is survived by his sisters, Sister Suzanne Besancenez, CPPS., and Doris Terbrock.

Bill's life was a testament to the strength of family bonds and the quiet impact of a life well-lived. He will be deeply missed by his numerous extended family and many friends.

Memorial Mass at St. John Bosco Church on Wednesday, April 1 at 11 am with visitation one hour prior to Mass. A reception will follow in the Parish Center.
