William G.
Mueller
September 30, 1939 – March 22, 2026
William "Bill" Glennon Mueller, born on September 30, 1939, entered into eternal life on March 22, 2026, at the age of 86. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great‑grandfather, uncle, cousin, and friend, Bill was deeply cherished by his family, who were his greatest joy.
He married his first wife, Janet (Morris) Mueller in 1960, and they shared 33 years of love and partnership until her passing in 1993. Bill was also preceded in death by his beloved son William Mueller Jr., his second wife Maryann (McNulty) Mueller, and his brother Arthur Mueller.
Bill is survived by his daughters Diane (Jeffrey) Wall, Michelle (Randy) Russell, Carol (Jacques) Royer, and his daughter‑in‑law Michelle Mueller (Flatken). He leaves behind eight grandchildren: Katherine (Matthew) Mauschbaugh, Kelsey (John) Hagan, Ryan Russell (Julia O'Malley), Emma Mueller, Eleanor Russell, Maria Mueller, Carolyn Mueller, and Sophie (Alain) Breysacher, along with great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren Evelyn, Jack, Colin, Liam, Jordan, (Diamante), Mia, Eden, Julien and Laurine, all of whom brought him immense joy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends whose lives he touched so deeply.
Bill was born in St. Louis, Missouri, to Arthur and Rose (Evans) Mueller. He graduated from Southwest High School in 1957 and went on to serve briefly in the Army Reserves before a long career with Southwestern Bell/AT&T. Following his retirement, he started his own business, Mueller Sales & Service, which he operated with his son and son-in-law. Bill was also an active member of the St. John Bosco Church Men's Club, where he was a fixture at fish fries and other parish events for many years.
A testament to his friendly spirit, much of Bill's free time was spent golfing, fishing, traveling, or playing poker with his family and friends, who will remember him for his warmth, kindness, and humor.
