William "Bill" George Reimer, baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection Sat., Nov. 25, 2023 preceded in death by his parents, George and Charlotte Reimer (nee Novak).

Beloved husband of  Ruth Reimer (nee Kohl); dear father and father -in-law of  Jennifer (Ryan) Shirley, Theresa (Paul) Gwydir and Mark (Leslie) Reimer; dear grandfather of Garrett, Hannah, Jacob, Zachary, Anna and the late Matthew; dear brother of Barbara (the late Keith) Richardson, George (Angie) Reimer, Ardis Moody (Jerry) and the late Ellen Peil; dear brother-in-law of Mark (Hilda) Kohl, and Michael (Debbie) Kohl; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

Bill served in the US Army Reserves for 7 years.  He was a commercial carpenter by trade and funniest guy at any gathering.  Although, he struggled with numerous heart complications for over 20 years, doctors often said he had survived all odds and was nothing short of a miracle. Bill spent his free time gardening, visiting the casino, fly fishing, spending time with his family and relaxing at home on his couch watching his TV.

Funeral from Ortmann's, 9222 Lackland Rd., Overland, Fri., Dec. 1, 10:30 a.m. to All Souls Church, for 11 a.m. Mass. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association.  Visitation at Ortmann's Thurs., Nov. 30 from 4-8 p.m.
