William Mark Rife was born on June 8, 1954, and passed away on July 9, 2022, at the age of 68. Beloved
husband for 18 years of Shirley Meyer-Rife; dearest father of Ali Cantino (Joe); stepfather of Tom Meyer
and Kelly Meyer; grandfather of Cameron Meyer; brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, and friend to
many. He was preceded in death by his parents Kathleen and Tom Rife. Known by most as Bill or Billy, he
graduated from De Smet Jesuit High School and went on to study at the University of Missouri –
Columbia where he was a member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity.
Bill was a fiercely loyal person, checking in daily with family and friends. To him, the sun was always
shining, and the Cardinals were always winning. His favorite place to be was floating down the Meramec
River with a first of the day. He will be fondly remembered for his kind soul, beautiful smile, and great
sense of humor.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Blue Springs Ranch in Bourbon, Missouri on the big gravel bar (go to office for directions).
