Monachella, Jasper A. "Monty" born Jan. 25, 1920. Passed Friday, April 22, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Virginia Monachella (nee Aubuchon); dear father of Terry (Mary), Bob (Debbie) and Greg (Sandy Favazza) Monachella; dear grandfather of Michelle (Bobby) Crozier, Lisa, Andrea and Lauren Monachella; dear great-grandfather of Casey (Mandy) Crozier, Dillon and Cyndi Crozier; dear great-great-grandfather of Isaac, Jasper and Shelbie Crozier; dear brother of Andrew Monachella and the late Vincent Monachella; our dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend.

In 1981 Monty, Ray Bassen and Art DeRousse started the MDC SAGES Retiree Club, and Monty was the club's first president. After Boeing acquired McDonnell Douglas, the SAGES club changed its name to MDC/BOEING SAGES. Monty did much volunteer work through the SAGES. He really enjoyed his time volunteering at the Wings of Hope.

Services: Funeral at the ORTMANN STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Sat. April 30, 11:15 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wings of Hope appreciated. Visitation from 9-11:15 a.m. Saturday.
