A graduate of Parkway Central High School, Jennie went on to receive her Associates Degree from Florissant Community College, Bachelor's Degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis, and Master's Degree from Webster University.

She had a fulfilling career as an interpreter for the hearing impaired, serving several school districts and houses of worship. Jennie was a committed advocate for the LGBTQ+ and Deaf Communities, which led to many fulfilling friendships. She was known for her quick wit and humor as well as her love of music.
